Summary

Join Ascendis Pharma, an innovative biopharmaceutical company focused on rare diseases, as a Werkstudent:in in Market Access / Public & Government Affairs / Patient Engagement. This part-time position (15-20 hours/week) is based remotely and involves supporting the team in health policy monitoring, patient engagement, and internal/external communication. The role requires at least 12 months commitment and starts immediately. You will contribute to research, patient engagement activities, project support, administrative tasks, and presentation creation. The ideal candidate is an enrolled student in a relevant field with an interest in health policy and patient engagement.

Requirements

• Enrolled student in health economics, public health, political, social, or economic sciences, or comparable field
• Interest in health policy, pharmaceutical supply, patient concerns, and patient engagement
• Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Proficient in MS Office (especially PowerPoint, Excel)
• Structured and independent work style, teamwork, and curiosity

Responsibilities

• Support research on health policy, patient concerns, and market access at the federal, state, and EU levels
• Contribute to health policy monitoring (e.g., legislative initiatives, G-BA, AMNOG)
• Screen forums, social media, and patient organizations to identify trends and relevant topics
• Support the development and implementation of patient engagement activities
• Participate in internal projects and external events in the areas of market access, public affairs, and patient communication
• Assist with contract management, PO processes, and internal documentation
• Prepare content for internal briefings and external stakeholder communication

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in market access, public affairs, or patient organizations is beneficial
