Summary
Join Presence, a leading provider of teletherapy solutions, as a Marketing and Communications Intern for Summer 2025! This role offers hands-on experience in research, strategic recommendations, and impactful storytelling within the teletherapy landscape. You will conduct strategic research on special education policy and teletherapy trends, analyze social media and other channels, identify influencers, and develop actionable insights. The internship involves collaboration with remote team members and delivering presentations to guide marketing and communications efforts. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a communications-related undergraduate program, available for 25 hours/week, and possesses strong research, communication, and teamwork skills. This remote position is based in the US and reports to the VP of Communications and PR and Director of Marketing.
Requirements
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field) with an anticipated graduation date in 2026 or 2027
- Available to work up to 25 hours per week throughout the 8-week summer internship, running from June 16 to August 8. The schedule for this internship is Monday-Friday weekly hours and Zoom check-ins during business hours (between 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. CT)
- Basic experience with research and synthesis skills; familiarity with social media platforms and research tools
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and curious
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Enthusiasm for remote work and “cameras on” collaboration
- This is a remote position based in the US
- All employees commit to being available on-camera for our Core Working Hours, noon to 5 pm EST M- F
Responsibilities
- Conduct Strategic Research : Lead projects focused on research and analysis related to policy in the special education and trends in the teletherapy space
- Examine social media platforms, blogs, company websites and other channels to gain insights
- Identify influencers to support marketing initiatives
- Identify channels and forums that reach target audiences
- Develop Actionable Insights : Deliver written summaries and presentations that distill key findings into strategic guidance for our marketing, communications and advocacy efforts
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with remote team members to ensure clear communication and alignment, contributing to a positive, inclusive team culture

Benefits
This is a part-time, temporary, non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay range of $15–$20 per hour
