Summary

Join NVE's Summer 2025 internship program, an unpaid remote opportunity running from June to August. Gain hands-on experience in marketing and communications, working directly with a supervisor. This internship offers exposure to both agency and in-house experiences, skill development, and networking opportunities. You will support the Agency Marketing & Communications team, experiencing the fast-paced agency life while contributing to NVE's reputation and client lead generation. The role involves content creation, social media management, and supporting thought leadership initiatives. Successful candidates will be passionate about marketing and advertising, possess strong writing and organizational skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Be currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in a college/university
  • Must have a personal laptop/computer
  • Must be able to work remotely at least 3 full days a week or 24 hours total within the 9:00-6:00pm Eastern (preferred) or Pacific Time zone
  • Ideal majors: Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
  • Writes effectively, persuasively, and professionally
  • Process-oriented and highly organized, with exceptional time management skills
  • Curious and resourceful, with a can-do attitude
  • Values collaboration, but feels confident working autonomously
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Passionate about the experiential marketing & advertising industries
  • Understands and is fascinated by culture, subcultures, and the forces that move them
  • Proficiency with G-suite/Google Workplace and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Help develop brand assets, copy, and other materials for NVE marketing objectives including newsletters, social media content, case studies, website content, and key communications
  • Assist in execution of social media strategy, including sourcing photo and video content, copywriting, and publishing across multiple social platforms
  • Support on social media monitoring/reporting and community management (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) Assist with Content Calendar maintenance and saving/consolidating marketing assets
  • Generate new, ownable content ideas for the agency
  • Work with other interns across the agency to capture and create content for NVE channels
  • Attend local NVE client activations and assist with content capture
  • Investigate current trends in the media, brand, and agency landscape
  • Support the coordination, development and writing of thought leadership content
  • Attend and participate in department meetings Assist with meeting preparation, organizing meeting notes, and circulating post-meeting recap emails as needed
  • Support maintenance and organization of team files and folders
  • Help develop templates and codify processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous internship experience preferred; agency experience is a plus
  • Graphic design and video production/editing experience is a major plus
