Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent technical/managerial experience
  • Minimum 5 years of marketing experience, with a focus on strategy development, campaign execution, and event planning
  • Prior supervisory experience
  • Proven ability to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry trends
  • Experience managing global event planning and trade show engagement, including lead capture, pre-event training, and asset management
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration, working with sales, product management, and other teams to align marketing initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience conducting market research, tracking campaign performance, and evaluating ROI
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling content, deliver presentations, and engage with diverse internal and external audiences
  • Proficiency in managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and coordinating thought leadership opportunities such as webinars and speaking engagements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry trends
  • Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials, campaigns, and content tailored to pre-clinical drug discovery audiences
  • Lead content development for virtual and in-person events, sales initiatives, and time-sensitive promotions
  • Create a monthly marketing newsletter to promote key products and services
  • Support and execute virtual and in-person event plans to maximize exposure and ensure efficient workflow for incoming sales leads
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and other teams’ collateral development and event-related activities
  • Manage global event planning and trade show engagement strategies, from conception to execution, including securing booth and materials, lead capture process, and pre-event trainings
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvements for all booth properties and convention assets
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
  • Identify opportunities to elevate the brand through speaking engagements at conferences, webinars, and virtual events
  • Work in close collaboration with multiple teams across the company to identify and create strong, timely content supporting marketing objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and product development, to align marketing efforts
  • Support deliverables associated with the sales enablement process
  • Execute marketing objectives as assigned by the Director of Marketing Communications to advance business goals
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive trends
  • Track and analyze marketing campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize results
  • Produce project retrospectives to evaluate event ROI and success
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with outside vendors
  • Coordinate speaking engagements via webinars, live presentations, and other outlets for thought leaders
  • Support social media, email marketing, and event coordination efforts to amplify the organization’s reach and influence
