Summary

Join Avetta as their Marketing Communications Manager and lead the day-to-day management of their PR agency. You will develop a strategic communications plan aligned with Avetta's business objectives. This high-impact role involves aligning the brand narrative with external communications, leading media relations, and developing thought leadership strategies. You will provide strategic oversight to the PR agency, manage executive narratives, and oversee media opportunities. Requirements

  • Proven success managing PR agencies, leading strategic initiatives, and securing high-impact media opportunities
  • 5 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or related roles, preferably in B2B software industries

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee a comprehensive strategic communications plan that aligns with Avetta’s business goals, marketing campaigns, and messaging priorities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, offering strategic guidance on communications, media engagement, and brand positioning
  • Act as a central conduit for all external communications, ensuring messaging consistency across all departments, regions, and touchpoints
  • Lead all PR, media relations, and thought leadership efforts to elevate Avetta’s global brand and reputation
  • Provide strategic oversight for PR agency operations, ensuring alignment with Avetta’s objectives and delivering measurable outcomes
  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with partners and influencers to secure impactful coverage
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for real time media engagement and proactive be able to tie to industry trends and breaking news
  • Oversee the creation, review, and distribution of press releases, ensuring timely and high-quality communications
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and executives to develop narratives that align with Avetta’s strategic messaging themes
  • Spearhead the creation of thought leadership content working collaboratively with contributors on whitepapers, bylines, and keynote speeches, to position Avetta as an industry innovator
  • Work closely with the events team to secure high-profile speaking opportunities for executives and SMEs at global conferences and webinars
  • Partner with customer marketing teams to identify, develop, and amplify compelling customer success stories, work with customers, partners, analysts, for media opportunities, case studies, and testimonials
  • Leverage customer narratives to enhance brand perception and market differentiation
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and media coverage to identify proactive communication opportunities
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with comprehensive reporting on PR and thought leadership initiatives, providing insights and actionable recommendations for companywide strategies
  • Develop metrics and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts and demonstrate ROI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, and/or a related field is preferred
  • Proficiency in messaging frameworks, media relations, and thought leadership strategies
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-stakes projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working closely with executives, product teams, and marketing stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, newsjacking opportunities, and audience engagement strategies
  • B2B SaaS industry experience strongly preferred
