Summary
Join Oscar's Marketing team as an Intern and contribute to the planning and execution of impactful events. You will be responsible for building and maintaining event plans, managing budgets and contracts, coordinating logistics, and ensuring successful event execution. This role requires experience in event planning, project management, and communication. The position offers a blended work culture with remote options and a competitive hourly rate. Requirements
- Experience in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
- Experience communicating with internal and external stakeholders
- Project management experience
- Ability to utilize and analyze data to solve business problems
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain a calendar of events that is shared with key partners and kept up to date
- With support from your lead at critical points, manage the budgets for events, secure event contracts for locations and ensure we stay on budget
- Ensure materials are created for events and that all partners have access to materials and the ability to rehearse prior to events
- Handle and manage all invitations and RSVPs, create the content, maintain details, monitor rsvpβs and ensure goal attendance numbers are met
- Responsible for ordering and shipping materials to event locations, from swag to tablecloths, ensure the teams have everything they need
- Create a plan (contents, event outlines, run of show) and kick off with all stakeholders to ensure alignment
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare or healthcare related experience including healthcare consulting, healthcare operations, healthcare finance, or related field
- Experience in fast-paced environments
- Currently enrolled at an MHA or MPH program (preferred focus on health policy and management)
