Summary
Join our team as a Marketing Intern for the winter semester (with the possibility of extending into the summer)! This part-time, fully remote role is perfect for students or recent graduates with a marketing background. You'll contribute to our LinkedIn strategy, expand our social media presence on Instagram and YouTube, conduct prospect research, create SEO content, manage email marketing campaigns, optimize existing content, and support events. We're looking for someone with strong writing and communication skills and experience with Canva. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing and exposure to industry experts.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
Responsibilities
- Help drive our current LinkedIn strategy by designing compelling graphics in Canva, crafting relevant post copy, engaging with thought leaders, and actively commenting with followers
- Support the expansion of our social media presence on Instagram and YouTube. Repurpose existing LinkedIn content (such as carousels and webinar clips) to suit each platform and enhance user engagement
- Conduct research to identify and qualify potential prospects for our outbound sales efforts
- Develop SEO content briefs based on keyword research, adhering to SEO and helpful content best practices
- Build and execute targeted email marketing campaigns using Hubspot
- Optimize existing content by adding relevant FAQs, updating outdated research, and interlinking newer content pieces
- Assist with the promotion and operational aspects of in-person field events and virtual webinars
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in marketing through previous internships, relevant coursework, or active involvement in related campus activities
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Experience designing in Canva
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content repurposing
- Basic understanding of SEO principles; prior experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to use or quickly learn Hubspot and other relevant digital marketing tools
- Organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting
