Join Kiva, a global nonprofit, as a Marketing Manager and play a critical role in implementing marketing strategies focused on driving engagement, retention, and growth. You will develop and optimize email marketing campaigns, collaborate with the Creative Studio on campaign assets, and use data analysis to evaluate performance and suggest improvements. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product, Customer Success, and Engineering. You will manage marketing tools and stay updated on industry trends. Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize email marketing strategies for annual and ongoing campaigns, overseeing the email marketing calendar, segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing to improve performance and drive engagement and retention
- Collaborate with the Creative Studio to develop and optimize campaign assets, ensuring creative excellence and consistency across all channels
- Use data analysis to evaluate the performance of campaigns, conducting regular performance reviews and suggesting strategic adjustments to maximize impact
- Identify new opportunities for growth and engagement based on market trends, audience behavior, and campaign insights
- Lead the planning and execution of key marketing initiatives, managing timelines and resources effectively
- Work cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to ensure integrated and effective campaign execution and user experiences
- Manage and maintain marketing tools such as Iterable, Asana, Figma, and Google Workspace and leverage data to drive informed decision-making
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing to drive continuous improvement in strategies and tactics
- Ensure compliance with marketing regulations and best practices, particularly related to email marketing, customer privacy, and CAN-SPAM
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of email marketing experience with a proven track record of leading successful campaigns and driving growth
- Strong background in email marketing, with expertise in campaign strategy, segmentation, A/B testing, and optimization
- Excellent data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics, document and share findings, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Demonstrated experience in multi-channel marketing, including email and on-site optimization
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex campaigns and deadlines across multiple teams
- Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and develop compelling marketing ideas
- Experience with marketing tools such as Iterable, Figma, Asana, Google Workspace, and analytics platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
