Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or sales management
  • Strong network with Agri/Food suppliers (Farmers/Growers, Processors & Manufacturers, Distributors)
  • Self-sufficient, focused sales executive with a propensity towards executing and driving revenue results
  • Native speaker of Malay with an advanced level of written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to senior business stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
  • Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong business acumen, creative thinking and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identifying and generating marketplace customer (seller) leads, qualifying prospects, contacting, negotiating, and closing deals
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers (sellers) and maintain high levels of engagement and partnership
  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the Tridge Marketplace to drive revenue growth and profitability
  • Continuously monitor the latest trends in the food and agriculture industries to identify new business opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the tech industry
  • Prior experience in online marketplaces
  • Experience in channel partnership management
