Join Tridge's multicultural and diverse team as the Marketplace Sales Manager (Global) to lead sales process, engage suppliers in food and agriculture industry, and drive revenue growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales or sales management
- Strong network with Agri/Food suppliers (Farmers/Growers, Processors & Manufacturers, Distributors)
- Self-sufficient, focused sales executive with a propensity towards executing and driving revenue results
- Native speaker of Sinhala or Tamil with an advanced level of written and verbal communication skills in English
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with an ability to speak effectively to senior business stakeholders
- Strong relationship management skills
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task with special attention to detail and follow-up
- Ability to run quickly with little supervision and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Strong business acumen, creative thinking and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying and generating marketplace customer (seller) leads
- Qualifying prospects, contacting, negotiating, and closing deals
- Build strong relationships with suppliers (sellers) and maintain high levels of engagement and partnership
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies tailored to the Tridge Marketplace to drive revenue growth and profitability
- Continuously monitor the latest trends in the food and agriculture industries to identify new business opportunities
