Summary
Join a leading online retailer as a Marketplace Specialist and work remotely. This role focuses on managing and optimizing product listings and advertising campaigns on eBay and Walmart marketplaces. You will leverage your expertise in SEO, marketplace advertising, and data analysis to drive sales and improve product visibility. Responsibilities include managing promotions, optimizing product listings, and conducting competitor analysis. The ideal candidate possesses proven experience in marketplace optimization, advertising campaign management, and data analysis. This is a fully remote position with a 9 AM - 5 PM EST schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience in utilizing eBay or Walmart to optimize product listings and drive sales (Amazon experience is a plus)
- Proficiency in managing marketplace advertising campaigns, particularly for eBay and Walmart
- Experience in developing and executing advertising strategies to achieve business objectives
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics to make informed decisions
- Experience using analytics tools to track and measure campaign performance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate strategies, insights, and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices, particularly as they apply to eBay and Walmart product listings
- Ability to conduct keyword research and optimize product content for search visibility
Responsibilities
- Manage both evergreen and ad-hoc promotions for eBay and Walmart marketplace partners to ensure maximum sales
- Work with other departments internally to coordinate on deal submissions and submit offers externally to the marketplace partners
- Set up competitive pricing in internal systems and ensure that all compliance requirements are met, including but not limited to: contract management, appropriate documentation, and regular pricing audits
- Review and audit all promotion details for accuracy prior to launch
- Conduct regular inventory checks and analysis on promotion performance, as well as make recommendations based on your findings
- Utilize expertise in eBay and Walmart marketplace portals to optimize product listings for maximum visibility and sales
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to improve product search rankings
- Optimize product titles, descriptions, and images to enhance product discoverability and conversion rates
- Manage advertising campaigns specifically for eBay and Walmart to increase product visibility and drive sales
- Develop and implement advertising strategies, including promotions and sponsored listings tailored to eBay and Walmart platforms
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize ad placements, targeting, and budget allocation for maximum ROI
- Implement strategies to improve product search rankings on eBay and Walmart
- Monitor search trends and algorithm updates to stay ahead of the competition and adapt strategies accordingly
- Work with internal teams to optimize product offerings and enhance search relevance
- Conduct regular analysis of competitor listings, pricing, and advertising strategies on eBay and Walmart
- Identify opportunities for differentiation and competitive advantage in these marketplaces
