Summary
Join Penta Group as a Media Planner and contribute to the development and execution of multi-channel advertising campaigns. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including brand strategy, creative, ad operations, and analytics. Develop strategic media plans aligned with client objectives, encompassing media mix, budget allocation, audience targeting, and ad placements. Conduct research on media vendors, manage RFPs, and partner with the demand-side platform. Ensure alignment of assets and campaign flighting with the media plan. Provide insights and recommendations on performance dashboards and budget allocations. This role requires 4-7 years of experience in media planning and buying across self-service ad platforms and direct media partnerships. The position is fully remote, US-based, with a preference for Eastern Time hours.
Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-7 years of experience in media planning, digital marketing, or advertising (agency experience preferred)
- Proficiency in digital advertising platforms, including DSPs, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Ads
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze campaign performance, identify trends, and recommend optimizations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and effectively
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a willingness to learn and collaborate within a dynamic team
Responsibilities
- Develop strategic media plans aligned with client objectives, including media channel mix, budget allocation, audience targeting, and ad format/placement recommendations
- Conduct research on media vendors and publications, issue requests for proposals (RFPs), evaluate responses, and negotiate rates
- Partner closely with our demand-side platform (DSP) partner to plan and execute display, video, audio, and CTV/OTT campaigns
- Maintain well-organized records of campaign documentation, including media budgets, insertion orders, creative requests, and assets
- Collaborate with creative and ad operations teams to ensure ad formats and placements align with campaign objectives
- Support the preparation of performance reports and client-facing presentations
- Assist in managing and updating campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
- Stay informed on digital marketing trends and best practices to contribute to team innovation and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with clients in regulated industry environments like Healthcare, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Agriculture, or others, is highly preferred
