Medical Content Manager

Summary

Join Doctify as a Medical Content Manager and contribute to a global healthcare platform impacting millions of patients. This part-time, remote role (up to 20 hours/month) based in the UK involves managing and maintaining medical terminology and specialties on the Doctify platform. You will research medical professionals and clinics, own the approval process for new terminology, and prioritize requests based on business needs. Collaboration with the Clinical Governance Committee is also involved. The role requires strong medical terminology knowledge, excellent research and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and effectively in a remote setting.

Requirements

• Have full professional fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Have strong experience with medical terminology and governing bodies
• Have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Have excellent organizational and research skills
• Be a good team player who is able to work remotely effectively

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly clinical governance meetings and present findings on new medical terminology (1 hour)
• Work with a high volume of requests and prioritize these based on business needs
• Make decisions and provide answers to members of our commercial teams on these outcomes
• Research medical professionals, including their professional background, medical association memberships, education, qualifications, and special interests to ascertain suitability
• Research entirely new top-level specialties, or governing bodies that do not already exist on the platform
• Add new and maintain existing medical terminology and specialties to the Doctify platform as well as related governing bodies
• Research medical professionals and clinics and own the approval process for each new request for medical terminology to be added to the Doctify platform within the existing keyword hierarchy
