Summary

Join Biogen as a Sr Manager, Medical Information - Rare Disease and be responsible for responding to medical information inquiries, creating standard and non-standard materials, and representing Medical Information in cross-functional teams. You will create responses to inquiries, develop standard responses for the contact center, train teams, monitor data trends, support audits, and potentially staff medical booths at congresses. Requirements

  • Advanced clinical and scientific understanding and training (e.g. PharmD, MD, PhD, NP, etc. required.)
  • 3+ years of Medical Information experience in a Global or Worldwide capacity within the pharmaceutical industry required
  • Strong attention to detail required
  • Proficient in analyzing large amounts of data while being able to pull the clinically relevant points
  • Capability to prioritize among many competing deliverables under time constraints
  • Understanding of and adherence to regulatory policies governing scientific interactions with physicians and patients
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills required
  • Growth mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Written and verbal proficiency in English required

Responsibilities

  • Create responses to unsolicited Medical Information inquiries
  • Proactively create Standard Responses for use by the frontline contact center
  • Training the contact center and the broader Medical team on therapeutic area-specific Medical Information content and processes
  • Monitor trends in Medical Information data and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders
  • Support audit readiness activities
  • Medical booth staffing at scientific congress meetings

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in a second language
  • Prior industry experience in a post-marketing setting
  • Clinical or scientific experience in Biogen’s therapeutic areas
