Medical Language Specialist

Summary

Join iMedX, a Rapid Care Group company, as a full-time Medical Language Specialist supporting Voice Recognition editing accounts using MedRite and Fluency platforms. This position requires at least one year of acute-care hospital and/or clinic medical transcription/editing experience in multiple specialties (at least four). You'll work in a fast-paced environment with a 1-2 hour turnaround time (TAT), primarily editing voice recognition reports. First and second shift positions are available, working Sunday-Thursday or Thursday-Monday. Competitive rates are offered. Requirements

• Possess at least one year of acute-care hospital and/or clinic medical transcription/medical editing experience in at least four specialties
• Demonstrate proven ability to move between accounts with urgency and accuracy
• Have a PC and high-speed cable-modem or DSL internet connection
• Use Microsoft Windows 8, 8.1 or 10 operating system
• Have an Intel i5 or i7 class processor or greater
• Have 100 MB hard disk space available
• Have a minimum of 4GB of RAM

Responsibilities

• Edit medical transcriptions using voice recognition platforms (MedRite and Fluency)
• Maintain a 1-2 hour turnaround time (TAT)
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Move between accounts with urgency and accuracy
