Summary

Join Smarsh as an IT Microsoft Systems Engineer and provide help desk and administrative support across nine offices. As a subject matter expert (SME) for all things Microsoft, you will prepare and execute project plans, guide large-scale projects, and offer solutions using various methodologies. You will work with representatives from all departments, manage vendor relationships, and train junior staff. This role requires a professional graduate degree, 11+ years of corporate IT experience in a fast-paced environment, and proven experience with various Microsoft products. Requirements

  • Have a Professional Graduate Degree
  • Have 11+ years of Corp IT experience working in a fast pace software and/or cloud environment
  • Have proven experience with Windows, Office 365, Skype for Business, SCCM, Exchange
  • Have demonstrated experience with troubleshooting various computer-related issues
  • Have experience with developing and reporting service desk metrics
  • Have excellent attention to detail, driving multiple projects and complex problem-solving capabilities
  • Have superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work in a cross functional team environment
  • Have strong customer focus
  • Have extensive knowledge on Azure Active Directory, Administration of O365 applications (Teams, SharePoint Online etc.), Microsoft Azure, SCCM, OneDrive
  • Have ability to work in co-managed environment of SCCM and Intune, Auto-pilot configuration, Mobile Device management, application management, Azure instances, Strong background in Windows servers, Microsoft license managements, Azure AD and much more
  • Have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Intune/End-Point Management

Responsibilities

  • Provide help desk and administrative support services for a company that spans 9 offices
  • Be a subject matter expert (SME) for all things Microsoft!
  • Have strong domain knowledge and technical skills
  • Prepare & execute project plan
  • Work as a guide and independently set directions for large sized projects of high complexity
  • Work on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring expert levels of judgment & interpretation
  • Offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then exercise judgment to determine most appropriate solution
  • Provide suggestions to Sr. Managers / Management on specialized technical issues
  • Be proficient in handling multiple tasks
  • Manage multiple key vendor relationships
  • Train junior staff members, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Have experience in leading team of at least 2 or more junior members
