Summary

Join Valimail, a fast-growing leader in Email Authentication as a Service, as a Mid Market Account Executive to accelerate new logo acquisition. You will strategically engage and close net-new customers in small-to-medium size markets, contributing to Valimail's overall growth. This role involves managing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead to close, for deals ranging from $5k-40k in ARR. You will develop personalized outreach, qualify opportunities, build a healthy pipeline, and strategically target accounts within the mid-market segment. Requirements

  • 5+ years direct Sales experience in SaaS, in an AE or similar role (SDR, BDR, CS, AM)
  • Prior experience strategically selling directly to CISOs, CTOs or other executives within the IT/Technology infrastructure
  • Self-starter, responsible for your own territory with experience building out your own territory plan
  • Experience using our tech stack: Outreach, Salesloft, Gong, SFDC, ZoomInfo
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate highly technical concepts to a technical audience
  • Cybersecurity or email security experience
  • Sales training such as: MEDDIC, Command of the Message

Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales Lifecycle, from lead to close, with companies within the Mid Market space and deal sizes ranging from $5k-40k in ARR including
  • Running discovery, demos, objection handling, and negotiation through close
  • Developing personalized outreach and follow-up cadences for each account
  • Qualifying and prioritizing inbound and outbound opportunities
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified mid-market opportunities
  • Identify and pursue new target accounts, maintain a high volume of revenue-driving activity
  • Strategically map out and break into accounts in companies in the Mid Market Segment
  • Utilize solution and value-selling techniques along with overcoming objections to effectively guide sales processes to close; position Valimail’s DMARC and email authentication solutions in ways that resonate with IT, Security, and compliance decision-makers
  • Identify compelling value propositions that address customer needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams like Product, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success on initiatives such as refining positioning, sharing insights on product development, and ensuring smooth post-sales handoff for increased expansion opportunities
  • Keep CRM systems up to date with customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data so we can learn more about our business and our sales process

  • Competitive pay + participation in employee stock option plan, The anticipated base salary for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 and includes a variable (commission) component at $90,000 - $100,000
