Summary

The job is for a Middle SOC Engineer at Quadcode, a fintech company. The role involves working in the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, responsible for data aggregation, security events normalization and monitoring, timely response to security threats, and maintaining all infrastructure as code. The team uses Agile, Scrum, and SAFe frameworks, Google Meet, Slack, TargetProcess, Wiki, Confluence, and conducts daily scrum standups at 12:45 UTC+2. The job requires 2 years of commercial experience in SOC or Product/Infrastructure security, a good base in classical computer science, SIEM integration/maintenance experience, and experience in Ansible, Gitlab-CI, Kubernetes. English B2 is required. Remote work is offered for service providers in certain countries.

Requirements

• 2 years of commercial experience in SOC, Product/Infrastructure security
• Good base in classical computer science: networks (TCP/IP), operating systems (Linux/Windows), basic programming skills (Python)
• SIEM integration/maintenance experience
• Experience in Ansible, Gitlab-CI, Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Splunk upgrade and support
• SOC 1st line infrastructure maintaining
• SOC vendor app maintaining
• Triage infrastructure alerts, fixing root causes
• Infrastructure codebase improvement
• Log connectors development
• Log collection and normalization
• Work closely with the IT department on information security related issues

Preferred Qualifications

• Development experience in any programming language
• Experience in Windows/Linux administration
• Splunk maintenance experience
