Summary
Join Scality, an industry leader in software-defined storage, as a Mid-Market Sales Specialist for the ARTESCA object storage product. This role will lead direct touch sales approach with end customers and prospects, working closely with marketing and channel teams to drive sales opportunities.
Requirements
- Three plus years of experience in mid market sales in the storage, data protection (backup), or security space
- Relevant track record of sales success
- Bachelor's Degree a plus
- Demonstrated success selling to new accounts
- Experience working closely with and selling through channel partners
- Ability and willingness to work opportunities from qualified leads through to closure including contacting leads/prospects through calls, emails, Social Media, and other tools
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and other revenue operations tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Be a self starter with the ability to learn quickly
- Strong communication and presentation skills as this position requires presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers
- Comfortable working with team members across different locations
Responsibilities
- Lead ARTESCA direct touch sales approach with end customers and prospects
- Work closely with Scality Marketing to transform hot leads into sales opportunities
- Work closely with Scality's Channel team to engage Scality Partner sellers on each sales opportunity that they will drive with the partner till a closing
- Work with strategic technology alliances such as Veeam, Commvault, and others as required to drive end user opportunities
