Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields
- Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers
- Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Develop Planning Associates and set Planning function improvement priorities
- Facilitate continuous improvement efforts of organizational and mission planning processes and systems for the Programs Department
- Maintain subject matter expertise and educate the organization of mission planning and execution best practices
- Develop a cohesive, high-performing team with goals and objectives, offer specific feedback on individual performance, and solicit feedback regularly
- Support the delivery of Team Rubiconβs missions, capabilities, and services in coordination with Branch Operations leaders
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with locally focused partners
- Assist with planning and budgeting according to National operational tempo
