Summary

Join Team Rubicon as a Manager, Mission Support (Planning) and lead a team supporting volunteer leaders in executing organizational goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in the military, disaster response, emergency management or first responder fields
  • Proven record of personnel management experience such as recruiting, managing, training, and developing employees and volunteers
  • Proficient with technology tools and in remote working for communicating and coordinating with a large network of TR staff members, Greyshirts (volunteers), and external stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Develop Planning Associates and set Planning function improvement priorities
  • Facilitate continuous improvement efforts of organizational and mission planning processes and systems for the Programs Department
  • Maintain subject matter expertise and educate the organization of mission planning and execution best practices
  • Develop a cohesive, high-performing team with goals and objectives, offer specific feedback on individual performance, and solicit feedback regularly
  • Support the delivery of Team Rubicon’s missions, capabilities, and services in coordination with Branch Operations leaders
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with locally focused partners
  • Assist with planning and budgeting according to National operational tempo
