The role involves leading the redesign of the DNS DHCP service, monitoring performance, managing related tools, and conducting hardware patching. You will also drive escalation and problem management processes, prepare environmental changes, and maintain detailed documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of DNS DHCP technologies and network security principles, along with experience in network architecture and ITIL practices. Requirements

  • Academic degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in network architecture or a related role, with a focus on DNS DHCP
  • Strong understanding of DNS DHCP technologies and network security principles. Knowledge of network design, server management and IP addressing
  • Understanding of ITIL practices and the ability to manage the service lifecycle effectively (Proficiency in service management tools and software)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) - min. B2 level
  • Good communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to solve complex issues / problems

Responsibilities

  • Lead the redesign of DNS DHCP service to ensure it meets the evolving needs of Continental Tires and the industry
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including managed service providers, software and hardware vendors, technical teams, business units, to understand their needs and ensure the solutions align with their requirements
  • Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of DNS DHCP service to ensure high availability and reliability, drive optimizations and ensure that it complies with relevant security standards
  • Oversee and manage DNS DHCP related tools i.e. QIP
  • Conduct hardware patching and configuration of complex network infrastructure to maintain optimal performance and security
  • Driving escalation and problem management processes, coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers
  • Prepare changes to the environment and maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, processes, and procedures
  • Steer external partners to ensure seamless integration and support of network services

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications: CCNP or equivalent
  • Leading Project experience represents a plus
