• University degree
• Professional experience of more than 10 years’ experience
• Experience with system architecture design and service delivery
• Experience with Networking and Network Infrastructure
• Experience with setting up and managing firewall security policies
• Experience with Configuration Management Frameworks
• Experience with process improvement
• Experience with troubleshooting network issues
• Ability to write detailed technical documentation, guides, and specifications
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Manage network topologies and cabling
• Monitor network infrastructure performance
• Operate and support network equipment
• Administration of firewall and their configuration
• Administration of reverse proxy and load balancer equipment services
• Utilization of configuration management frameworks
• Administration of periodic firmware and software upgrades of network infrastructure
• Automate process using scripting and/or infrastructure as a code where possible, along with the implementation of infrastructure as a code, and implementation of software defined networking
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues
• Identify hardware, software and network problems and propose solutions
• Perform regular maintenance on hardware, network, and software components
• Communicate effectively with end users and ICT team
• Take part in designing and implementing solutions for replication & disaster recovery
