Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Advanced problem resolution of LAN, WAN, Security, network and availability redundancy
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment and products
  • New hire training/mentoring by providing expert technical recommendations based on business needs
  • Prepare technical reports concerning status of activities, new technology testing and create thorough documentation
  • Configures and maintains the corporate enterprise network environment
  • Performs analysis, diagnostics, and resolution of complex network and voice problems
  • Monitors the reliability of the network across multiple platforms
  • Participates in the rotating 'on call' schedule with other members of the team
  • Performs root cause analysis for network outages or other business impacting issues
  • Provides primary and secondary support for key network and infrastructure applications
  • Assists in designing, configuring and the implementation of major network systems
  • Conducts research and evaluates new industry hardware and software to stay current on emerging technologies, market trends, and future expectations
  • Maintains system documentation and departmental procedures
  • Performs user ID creation, ID removal and ID maintenance for employee access changes; perform user ID access reviews and account cleanup processes
  • Manages the day-to-day operation and troubleshooting of the enterprise data communications networks
  • Completes trouble tickets and provides customer feedback
