Summary

Join Twist Bioscience as a Next Generation Sequencing Sales Specialist and drive revenue growth in South Korea. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue targets, forecasting accurately, and managing key customer and channel partner relationships. This role requires strong technical knowledge of next-generation sequencing, proven sales experience in life science reagents, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams. You will also maintain the CRM database, represent the company at tradeshows, and provide valuable customer feedback to improve products. Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering financial targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • 3-5 years of experience of selling life science reagents and solutions. Experience selling next generation sequencing target enrichment products essential
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing applications a necessity
  • Capability for setting and managing performance goals regularly, delivering accurate internal reports based on these metrics
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and departments to maximize work efficiency
  • Quick adaptation to organizational culture and contribute to localizing global corporate practices
  • Ability to strengthen customer relationships through regular on-site visits and meetings, providing practical technical/business support tailored to customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Attain quarterly and annual revenue targets established from annual commission plans
  • Work collaboratively with regional channel partner/s to achieve allocated revenue targets
  • Deliver accurate and timely forecasts for their territory
  • Develop and manage key relationships with channel partners, new and existing customers at multiple organizational levels
  • Develop contingency and risk mitigation plans for their region as necessary
  • Develop and execute supply agreements to support new and existing business
  • Work collaboratively with product management, R&D and operations to minimize time to revenue
  • Maintain CRM database with up-to-date information
  • Represent the company at relevant tradeshows
  • Maintain and raise awareness of the competitive landscape, provide customer feedback and introduce new product ideas to internal partners
  • Additional duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • A background in technical sales and support or field applications is preferred
  • A background in channel management is preferred
  • Application of Salesforce.com is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) preferred in Biology or similar field
