Summary

Join FloQast as a part-time Office and Workplace Coordinator to support the New York office's daily operations. You will manage office supplies, coordinate events, greet guests, and ensure a positive work environment. This is a 1099 fixed-term contract (approximately 6 months, 24 hours/week) for a small office (25-35 employees). Responsibilities include managing office lunch programs, coordinating deliveries, maintaining office tidiness, and planning small team events. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong communication skills, and enjoys creating a positive workplace culture.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage recurring office lunch and snack programs
  • Greet guests and customers and help make their visits smooth and welcoming
  • Coordinate office mail & deliveries and work with IT on equipment drop offs and pickups
  • Keep the office tidy, stocked, and running efficiently (including light cleanup when needed)
  • Plan and support small team events like birthday treats, happy hours, and seasonal celebrations
  • Be the go-to person for office questions, supply requests, and day to day logistics
  • Communicate with building staff, vendors, and the facilities team as needed
  • Support occasional admin or facilities-related tasks
  • Office supply ordering and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a small office or startup environment
  • Familiarity with workplace tools like Zoom, Google Workspace, or Slack
  • Light events experience or interest in building a positive workplace culture
  • Comfort communicating with vendors or building staff to troubleshoot issues
