Online Programmer

Summary

Join Lakshya Digital as an Online Programmer and contribute to the full stack development of our game. You will design, implement, and maintain game features, build debugging tools, and create scalable systems for large player populations. This freelance, remote position requires proficiency in C++, experience with cloud platforms, and database management. The ideal candidate will also possess knowledge of back-end and front-end frameworks. Requirements

• Have relevant experience in similar roles
• Be proficient in C++ programming (experience with Unreal Engine is a plus)
• Have experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and orchestration
• Have experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Have experience in testing and scaling online services

Responsibilities

• Design, instrument, and operate online services
• Integrate online features into the game engine in a multiplayer context
• Implement workflows to adapt to the Sony online ecosystem
• Provide frameworks to teammates to help them be proficient with the full stack
• Work on setting up infrastructure as code
• Work on CI/CD and task automations

Preferred Qualifications

• Have knowledge of back-end programming frameworks (e.g., Rust)
• Have knowledge of front-end frameworks (e.g., TypeScript, Node.js, React)
• Have familiarity with logging and monitoring stacks (e.g., ELK, Prometheus/Grafana)
