Join us as the Head of Demand Marketing, where you will be responsible for planning, building, and running inbound and outbound marketing programs to drive pipeline growth for our teletherapy business. You will define, execute, measure, and refine a marketing revenue strategy, owning top-of-funnel activity across various channels. This role requires collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders, optimizing marketing programs for ROI, and leveraging marketing technologies. Success in this position demands strong analytical skills, experience in demand generation, and a deep understanding of the marketing funnel. The ideal candidate will have a background in health technology or a complex technical market and a proven track record of success.
Requirements
- Experience in a demand marketing leadership role, preferably in the health-technology space or a complex technical market
- Excellent understanding of how to analyze and optimize conversion rates across the sales and marketing funnel
- Extensive skills in marketing technology and automation systems such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
- Demonstrable success delivering earned (SEO/SEM, website, email), paid (PPC, event sponsorships, social), and owned channels (web, webinar, podcast) demand generation programs
- Data acquisition and management knowledge to support lead nurturing and outbound programs
- Highly quantitative with a very strong understanding of data
- A desire to work both at a strategic level and tactically on projects and campaigns
- Excellent decision-making skills in regards to allocating marketing spend
- Experience in an early-stage and growing startup
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
Responsibilities
- Create and execute multi-channel demand generation strategies aligned with personas, audiences, and revenue objectives
- Construct and execute marketing programs, creating and rolling out targeted demand generation programs
- Understand buyer personas to create authentic conversations that move them through the sales funnel
- Own marketing funnel objectives; inquire to SQL; track and optimize performance at each stage; create a predictable demand generation engine
- Continuously optimize online and offline programs to ensure CAC aligns with ROI goals
- Partner with internal teams to increase external usage of company educational programs
- Deliver high-quality content across different channels, driving organic engagement and improving conversion rates and retention
- Collaborate with various stakeholders (C-level, B2B, Clinical Operations, and product)
- Strengthen best practices, evaluate marketing strategies and technologies, experiment and optimize tactics, and meet or exceed sales pipeline and revenue goals
- Analyze marketing program outcomes, draw insights, and present results to inform decision-making
- Understand lead scoring and revenue lifecycle, including MQLs and SQLs
- Have knowledge of marketing automation platforms and CRM systems (such as Salesforce, Looker)
- Be responsible for the budget and report on ROI
