Operations Analyst

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, finance or related field or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
• 3+ years’ experience in consulting or healthcare analytics
• Experience in pulling data from EMRs, Athena experience preferred
• Experience using Excel to create financial models, visualizations, and consumable reports for end users
• Experience in creating client-ready deliverables
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Autonomous initiative-taker with an unwavering work ethic

Responsibilities

• Lead deep dive data analyses that understand the economic impact of changes to practice staffing, patient access, productivity, payer mix, clinical quality, workflow, risk adjustment, revenue cycle, etc
• Pull, cleanse and analyze large claims and population health datasets
• Develop presentation materials to communicate data analysis findings, recommendations and the status of actionable initiatives, and present findings to stakeholders, as necessary
• Analyze practice financials and identify strategic interventions aimed at increasing practice profitability, alleviating cash flow problems, etc
• Propose and implement improvements to efficiency and scale of analytic products and create enterprise analytic tools to support operations teams
• Lead business analysis for enterprise-wide project initiatives and ongoing process enhancements
• Analyze root causes and resolve complex operational issues
• Understands operational processes within the practices
• Identifies and advocates for opportunities to bring value/improvements to the practice and workflows
• Estimate resources and timelines for project deliverables
