Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- One to three years' experience in an administrative position, preferably in a non-profit organization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as interpersonal skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Canva, and social media platforms; Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Database Management experience β Salesforce preferred
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- A self-starter, data and deadline driven, and ability to multi-task with solid organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to collaborate across teams both inside and outside of Hillel, successfully managing multiple priorities
- Willingness to facilitate conversations and learn more about Judaism and Israel in a way that inspires stakeholders to invest in our work
Responsibilities
- Assist with database management: update and clean-up lists, merge records, update system, and coordinate between various database systems
- Run lists, queries, and reports to assist the development team in meeting our annual campaign goals
- Provide administrative support as needed for a variety of internal and external programs and events
- Coordinate logistics with staff and student leaders for program needs
- Maintain Maryland Hillelβs website
- Assist the Director of Finance and Operations on building security and security protocols and emergency management planning
- Serve as the liaison between outside catering groups and Dining Manager
