Summary

Join Bird's product team as a Sr. Product Operations Associate and contribute to the success of our product and operations team. You will work closely with local market operations and product teams to support new product rollouts, leverage data to improve product adoption, and troubleshoot issues. This role ensures proper product use and drives improvements to increase Bird's profitability. You will report to the product lead and have opportunities for growth. Key responsibilities include acting as PMO for new products, collaborating with market operations, providing operator support, gathering product feedback, creating and executing testing plans, leading operator training, and leading outage response. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, strong quantitative and communication skills, and proficiency in SQL and spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a competitive university in quantitative/technical field
  • 3-5+ years of experience leveraging data to facilitate business decisions, managing cross-functional projects and collaborating ; experience at a high growth startup is a plus
  • Strong quantitative capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills addressing all levels of the organization
  • Strong organization and project management skills
  • High attention to detail and foresight for potential challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to improve and simplify complex processes
  • Experience championing the needs of end-users with empathy
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and lack of resources to deliver results with limited direction
  • Intermediate SQL and spreadsheet (Sheets or Excel) proficiency

Responsibilities

  • Act as PMO for new marketplace and operator products and enhancements
  • Partner with the technology team for product development, experiment setup, documentation and process improvement
  • Collaborate with market operations by providing data insights and actionable plans to improve product adoption and process adherence at the local level
  • Support operators by providing Tier 1 support for troubleshooting issues and general problem solving within SLAs
  • Solicit product feedback from the operations team and work with operations leadership and the product team on roadmap prioritization
  • Create and execute testing plans and lead implementation of new products and tools for all operators (both internal and external)
  • Create and lead training for operators to support new products
  • Lead outage response to drive for resolution, remediation and post-mortem analysis

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing dashboards in Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Project Management certification
