Summary
Join GoodLeap as an Operations Manager and oversee the day-to-day operations of our Virtual Power Plant (VPP) programs. You will ensure optimal performance, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction. This role involves coordinating with various teams, including engineering, grid services, marketing, and customer support, to manage programs that drive GoodLeap’s VPP goals. Responsibilities include managing real-time operations of VPP assets, enhancing platform functionality and customer experience, contributing to product roadmap discussions, driving continuous improvement, identifying operational risks, and conducting root cause analyses. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 2-4 years of experience in energy market operations and VPP/DER integration, and strong analytical and communication skills. A Master's degree is preferred.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Operations Management, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience required

Responsibilities
- Manage real time and day-to-day operations of VPP assets to include program management and performance optimization
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, Regulatory, and Customer Support team to enhance platform functionality and customer experience
- Serve as operational voice in product roadmap discussions for VPP tools, data, pipelines and alerts
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, process refinement, and data insights
- Identify operations risk and lead root cause analysis for any underperformance or anomalies

Benefits
$120,000 - $150,000/annually
