Optimization Engineer

Summary

The job is for an Optimization Engineer at Ryanair Labs, a technology brand of Ryanair. Requirements

• +2 years of experience (or relevant academic experience) working on mathematical optimization projects
• +2 years of experience developing with python or C++
• Skills in at least two of the following: mixed integer programming, linear programming, constraint programming, local search methods, metaheuristics
• Fluent in English

Responsibilities

Work in a multi-disciplined team, owning work from initial idea to final implementation. Work on various areas such as flight operations, ground operations, scheduling, route development

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Mathematical Optimisation/Research Operations
• Experience in optimisation models with large number of variables and restrictions where scale and performance are a challenge
