Outreach Intern

Summary

Join ITHAKA as an Outreach Strategy Intern and gain valuable experience in the digital collection management field. You will create regional market overview reports focusing on digital stewardship and collections management trends, identifying key prospects, and suggesting outreach strategies. The internship requires a graduate student status and excellent research and communication skills. ITHAKA offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 and a remote work environment. Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a graduate degree program
• Possess excellent research skills and a proven ability to compile information from a variety of sources (databases, websites, etc.) into a consumable summary
• Have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Be familiar with Google Suite: Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive
• Not require any type of immigration sponsorship (additional work authorization or permanent work authorization) now or in the future to work in the United States
• Be able to work and reside in the continental U.S

Responsibilities

• Complete market overviews for assigned regions
• Include region-specific trends related to Digital Stewardship & Collections Management (ex: comparator products, key conferences, funding trends)
• Identify top prospects Outreach should be targeting in the region
• Determine types of contacts Outreach should be looking to speak and contact research for top prospects

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience or familiarity with libraries, digital preservation, archives, and knowledge of special collections
