Summary

Join Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) as a Contracts Paralegal and contribute to a positive and high-performing Legal team. You will assist in managing customer contracts, refine contract processes, draft routine contracts, and support contract negotiations. This role involves contract administration, process streamlining, and various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses an Associate's Degree, paralegal experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Requirements

  • Associateโ€™s Degree, required
  • 2 years of experience as a paralegal in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced team environment
  • Work independently and exercise strong judgment when executing an assigned task
  • Professionally with all levels of management and external parties
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of the use of technology in legal operations
  • Superior ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an efficient and timely manner
  • Meet tight deadlines and comfortably operate in the face of time constraints
  • Identify and effectively escalate potential issues to appropriate persons
  • Persistently follow-up with colleagues to ensure that appropriate information is obtained and timely recorded

Responsibilities

  • Assist in review and management of customer contracts, including our contract process, by performing routine and other tasks, which will help allow attorneys to focus on more complex matters
  • Assist in refining or developing processes or systems related to our contract processes
  • This role will be responsible for routine contracts, including contract addendums and statements of work, and will need to determine when to escalate issues
  • Contract management and administration
  • Standard contract drafting and negotiation
  • Assist with organizing and managing our customer contracts and template agreements, and process streamlining
  • Assist with administration tasks to include coordinating meetings, tracking projects, drafting emails, etc

Preferred Qualifications

CP (Certified Paralegal); Paralegal training/experience strongly preferred
