Join Anantara, a luxury hospitality brand, as a Pastry Chef and contribute to the creation of innovative pastries and desserts for our guests. You will oversee and participate in the large-scale production of bakery and pastry items, ensuring high quality and efficiency. This role also involves planning, organizing, and directing the pastry team, including conducting training sessions. The ideal candidate possesses advanced culinary or hospitality training and significant experience in large-scale bakery production, including specialty cake decorating and inventory control. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential.

Requirements

  • An advanced level culinary, hospitality or business degree
  • At least 3 years experience in managing and participating in the operation of a large scale bakery production center including specialty cake decorating and pastry production, food service management, and inventory control
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with a diverse team
  • Creative, innovative and self-motivated with strong commitment to teamwork and customer service

Responsibilities

  • Produce creative pastries and desserts for guests
  • Supervise, plan, organize, direct, and participate in the centralized production of highly specialized bakery and pastry menu items
  • Organize and lead training sessions for team members
