Payment Operations Specialist I

Summary

Join Zillion Technologies Inc. as a Payment Operations Specialist in a fully remote, contract-to-hire position. This role requires a basic understanding of ACH networks and electronic payments, with a focus on processing ACH files, handling suspended files, and resolving errors. You will balance GLs/accounts, prioritize customer files, and communicate with internal and external customers. Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of operations or financial industry experience
• Banking or Financial experience
• Experience with MS Office Suite
• Maintaining a high level of accuracy
• Possessing excellent customer service skills
• Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills
• Being detail oriented and quality focused
• Being flexible and able to adapt to change
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Ability to handle high risk and high volume of transactions

Responsibilities

• Processing ACH Files
• Handling suspended files
• Handling balancing of GL's/accounts related to ACH settlement
• Providing additional attention to impacted customer files
• Conducting inbound / outbound ACH research and error resolution
• Contributing to the development and improvement of all processes
• Contributing to the objectives of the team and business
• Frequently communicating with internal and external customers
• Prioritizing the delivery of an excellent customer experience
