Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Prior experience in payment operations within the Forex/Trading industry or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of payment systems, including SWIFT, IBAN, and other international payment protocols
- Proficiency in using financial software and tools for payment processing and reconciliation
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as AML and PSP
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive financial data
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is Compulsory
Responsibilities
- Process Payments: Execute timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing payments, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and other payment methods used in the company
- Reconciliation: Perform daily, monthly, and yearly reconciliations of payment transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) and know your customer (KYC) regulations. Implement and enforce internal controls to mitigate financial risks
- Vendor Management: Liaise with banks, payment processors, and other financial institutions to manage relationships and resolve payment-related issues
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on payment activities, including transaction volumes, processing times, and error rates. Analyse trends and provide insights to improve operational efficiency
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payment processes and enhance automation with technology. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and upgrades
- Customer Support: Provide solutions to customers regarding payment inquiries, disputes, and resolution. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and effective communication
