Requirements
- Have hands-on experience managing payroll and taxes across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in Mexico, with a solid understanding of Canadian and US systems
- Be meticulous and detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy in financial processes and reports
- Enjoy working independently, thrive in fast-paced environments, and be proactive in finding solutions to challenges
- Be skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines across different countries
- Be familiar with local accounting and tax systems in Mexico and comfortable navigating international compliance requirements
Responsibilities
- Manage Payroll Across Entities: Process payroll for Keepβs entities in the US, Canada, and Mexico, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and timely teammate registrations
- Oversee Mexican Entity Accounting: Handle bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax compliance for our Mexican entity, ensuring compliance with local regulations and proper record-keeping
- Monitor Teammate Expenses: Review employee expenses to ensure compliance with company policies, such as Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives, and provide regular reporting
- Ensure Tax Compliance and Filing: Oversee tax filings and compliance across jurisdictions, staying updated on local regulations and liaising with external advisors when needed
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the finance and operations teams to streamline financial processes and contribute to global financial strategy
