Summary

Join Granicus as a Payroll Administrator and handle payroll preparation and administration for multiple countries. You will collaborate with HR and Finance teams, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies. Maintain accurate payroll records, submit taxes and contributions timely, and support system integrations. Resolve discrepancies, support audits, and stay updated on payroll legislation. Provide reporting and analytics, respond to employee inquiries, and support the Lead Payroll Administrator. This role requires at least 3 years of experience in multi-country payroll administration and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in payroll administration for multiple countries
  • Outstanding organizational dexterity with great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with varying audiences
  • Solid comprehension of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
  • Motivated understanding of labor and compensation legislation and regulations
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required
  • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
  • Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies

Responsibilities

  • Provides exemplary customer service to employees through effective and proactive interaction and appropriate escalation of issues to Human Resources leadership
  • Administers and processes payroll for employees across multiple countries/regions, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies
  • Collaborates with Lead Payroll Administrator and other internal stakeholders across HR and accounting teams to gather, track, and validate payroll data
  • Maintains accurate payroll records, including salary changes, incentive payments, deductions, and benefits
  • Ensures timely submission of payroll taxes, social security/national insurance contributions, and other statutory requirements
  • Supports monitoring of system integrations between HRIS and global payroll provider
  • Reconciles payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Supports audits and ensures compliance with internal controls and external regulations
  • Stays current with changes in payroll legislation and best practices for assigned countries/regions
  • Provides payroll-related reporting and analytics to management as needed
  • Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax, and benefits with professionalism and confidentiality
  • Works closely with and supports Lead Payroll Administrator acting as backup processor as needed, maintaining SOPs, and supporting payroll and other HR projects
  • Collaborates with broader HR and leadership teams during M&A integrations
  • Responds to employment and income verification requests

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Payroll Processing (CPP), Fundamentals of Payroll (FPC), or equivalent certification is preferred
  • Previous experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) is preferred
