Join Remote's Payroll Client Services team as a Tier 2 Team Lead! The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role, and expertise in global payroll, taxation, and compliance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, payroll client services, or HR advisory roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position
  • Expertise in global payroll, taxation, and compliance, including Employer of Record (EOR) services
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with a focus on mentoring and development
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and provide strategic solutions for complex payroll and employment scenarios
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and ticketing tools (e.g., Zendesk, ADP, Workday)
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in analyzing trends and creating actionable insights
  • Writes and speaks fluent English

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tier 2 team specializing in EOR and Global Payroll advisory services, ensuring high-quality and consistent delivery of solutions
  • Shape the teamโ€™s direction and strategy, defining service offerings, processes, and best practices to meet evolving client needs
  • Act as the escalation point for advanced cases, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Set clear goals, monitor team performance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Develop and document best practices to streamline workflows and enhance service efficiency
  • Collaborate with Payroll Operations, Product, HR, and Legal teams to enhance the functionality and compliance of payroll client services
  • Monitor legislative and industry trends, proactively adapting the teamโ€™s services to address emerging challenges and opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in additional languages
  • Itโ€™s not required to have experience working remotely, but itโ€™s considered a plus
