Payroll Agent

Summary

Join ZigZag as a Payroll Agent (AU Payroll) and contribute to the smooth operation of the payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely payments for 1,500 to 3,000 workers. You will review and manipulate customer data, assist with weekly payroll completion, investigate payroll disputes, prepare reports, and optimize payroll processes. This role requires strong Excel skills, interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an Australian business in the technology industry. The position involves working remotely from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm.

• Experience in business operations or payroll

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and manipulating customer data to enable timesheets to be uploaded into the platform and payroll systems
• Assisting with the completion of weekly payroll for 1,500 to 3,000 workers
• Investigating payroll dispute tickets
• Preparing customer payroll reports
• Maintaining and continuously optimising Sidekicker’s payroll processes
• Ad hoc analysis and tasks as required
• Ensure effective communication within the business unit and with the rest of the business
