Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Manager, Accounting Services, overseeing the accounting services department and ensuring seamless financial operations within our global BCS framework. Lead the day-to-day operations, prepare accurate financial reports, analyze financial data, and develop accounting policies aligned with international standards. Coordinate tax filings, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor a team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting management, a strong understanding of international compliance, and proven leadership skills. This role requires a Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA or equivalent qualification, and at least 5 years of progressive experience, including 2 years in a managerial capacity. Experience in EMEA and proficiency in accounting software are preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity
  • Proven experience managing accounting operations in a region, EMEA preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and regional regulatory frameworks
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and integrity
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting services department, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
  • Analyze financial data to identify key trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures in alignment with international standards and regional compliance requirements (with a focus on EMEA)
  • Coordinate tax filings and ensure full compliance with local and international tax regulations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support broader business goals and client requirements
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of accounting professionals to drive performance, engagement, and growth

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Experience working in audit functions and/or Shared Services Centers
