Summary

Join GoGlobal as a Payroll Product Manager and bridge the gap between Payroll and Product teams. You will be responsible for planning the payroll platform's roadmap, conducting user acceptance testing, identifying and resolving bugs, and collaborating with engineers and payroll experts. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll processes and systems, and the ability to translate operational needs into product requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders, manage product development, and ensure seamless integration with local payroll engines. Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of experience in payroll operations or product management, with significant exposure to both fields
  • Proven experience in managing the development and rollout of payroll or HR platforms
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Proficient in working with engineering teams and familiarity with Agile or similar development methodologies
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in conducting UAT and prioritizing feedback for product enhancements

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Product team to define and plan the development roadmap for the payroll platform
  • Ensure alignment of the platformโ€™s capabilities with client needs and local payroll engine requirements
  • Lead the walkthrough of wireframes, prototypes, and product specifications to gather feedback from stakeholders
  • Plan, execute, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate product functionality
  • Identify, document, and prioritize bugs or usability issues, and work with engineering teams for resolution
  • Ensure a seamless transition from development to operational use
  • Act as the primary liaison between the Payroll and Product teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of priorities
  • Translate payroll operations knowledge into actionable product requirements for engineers
  • Engage with internal stakeholders to understand challenges and opportunities, incorporating feedback into product development
  • Drive initiatives to improve the aggregation of client information and integration processes with local payroll engines
  • Monitor and evaluate platform performance, identifying areas for enhancement to meet evolving business needs
  • Support documentation and training efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new features across teams
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and advancements in payroll technologies to drive innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and enhance user experience
