Payroll Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Payroll Processing: Oversee the timely and accurate processing of payroll for all employees
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Manage payroll tax filings and reporting
• Process payroll adjustments, deductions, and benefits
• System Administration: Contribute to the Workday design discovery sessions and provide the business requirements needed to configure and maintain Workday's payroll module to meet organizational needs
• Manage payroll data and security
• Troubleshoot and resolve payroll system issues
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of payroll specialists or analysts
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure team productivity
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and improve efficiency
• Implement best practices and automation to reduce manual tasks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other payroll systems
• Knowledge of HRIS and time and attendance systems
