Summary

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business, Organizational Behavior, or other translatable area
  • 3+ years HR experience
  • High engagement - People professionals who can understand and cultivate GoPro’s fun, agile and productive culture
  • Excellent active listening skills, and a thoughtful and skilled communicator
  • Curiosity that drives you to learn the business quickly
  • Ability to facilitate discussions with ease, and deliver the full suite of HR services
  • Strong sense of “team” and a desire to help build a dynamic, unique organization

  • Tenacious, urgent and positive demeanor
  • Strong computer skills with an ability to quickly learn new tools
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand the business, products, operations, strategies, goals and leadership of GoPro
  • Continually assess functional organizational health and effectiveness, identifying opportunities to drive improvements and efficiencies
  • Provide guidance on topics such as compensation, organizational change, retention, engagement, development and performance to client groups
  • Provide direction/coaching on employee relations issues, feedback, mentoring and career planning
  • Partner effectively with managers to ensure they onboard, engage, leverage, scale and retain their teams
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to provide insights and support informed, high-quality decisions
  • Design and implement appropriate rollout plans for programs and initiatives
  • Participate enthusiastically on the team by providing great feedback, ideas, and suggestions
  • Be a problem solver – and a creative one at that
