Join Splice as a Sr. People Business Partner and work remotely, with preferred locations in NYC & LA. Requirements

  • 8-10+ years of HR experience, ideally in a high-growth organization
  • Experience strategically partnering with department heads or senior leadership
  • Strong ability to identify business priorities and recommend innovative People & Culture strategies
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and leading leadership development programs
  • Knowledge of compensation and benefits, with the ability to apply insights to workforce planning
  • Solution-focused thinking, empathy, strong judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Strong organizational development experience supporting team effectiveness, coaching, and culture
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience building relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong employee relations, mediation, and conflict resolution experience
  • Expertise in Google Suite and Microsoft, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency across data and project execution
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced, international matrix organization

Responsibilities

  • Engage with assigned departments to build strong, collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees
  • Deeply understand business objectives, identify key priorities, and recommend innovative People & Culture strategies that drive impact
  • Provide strategic People & Culture guidance to align people strategies with business objectives and contribute to organizational growth and success
  • Develop and leverage workforce planning insights and analysis to anticipate talent needs and recommend proactive hiring strategies
  • Partner with hiring managers to align talent acquisition efforts with business objectives, ensuring a strategic approach to workforce growth
  • Provide guidance on role scoping, internal mobility, and succession planning
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, L&D, and HRBPs to enhance hiring processes, improve candidate experience, and support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in recruitment
  • Partner with Learning & Development and People & Culture Business Partners to drive strategic leadership development programs, focusing on mid-to-senior-level growth
  • Design, build, and roll out leadership training initiatives
  • Implement learning solutions that align with business needs and foster long-term career growth
  • Advise and coach managers through key organizational challenges, such as team building, restructuring, scaling, and managing through change
  • Provide leadership on creating engagement initiatives, succession planning, and developing strategies to maintain high-performing teams in a dynamic environment
  • Lead People & Culture initiatives that support retention, engagement, recognition, compensation, talent management, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices that foster an inclusive and positive work culture
  • Utilize People & Culture data and metrics to evaluate the impact of initiatives across the business
  • Provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations to improve employee engagement, retention, culture, and overall business operations
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies
  • Provide mediation and conflict resolution support, creating a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline People and Culture processes, drive efficiencies, and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure timely and effective execution
  • Support an internationally distributed workforce, ensuring alignment with local labor laws, cultural nuances, and business needs
  • Stay informed on global HR trends and employment regulations to provide strategic guidance
