Join Cleo's People Analytics team as a Data Analyst and play a crucial role in driving data-driven decision-making across HR and People functions. Analyze and interpret employee data, providing insights to support initiatives like performance management, employee engagement, and retention. Collaborate with stakeholders to create actionable reports and dashboards, identifying trends that inform strategic business decisions. You will transform raw data into meaningful insights, supporting workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management. Optimize the people analytics framework, ensuring scalability and adaptability as the company grows. Contribute to cross-functional projects, providing robust analysis for initiatives like diversity efforts and employee development. Your work will directly inform strategic decisions and operational improvements across the company.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably within HR, People Analytics, or a similar field
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Mode)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience working with HR metrics and understanding of HR processes
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret employee data, providing insights that support key initiatives like performance management, employee engagement, and retention
- Work closely with stakeholders to create actionable reports, develop dashboards, and identify trends that inform strategic business decisions
- Dig into large datasets to identify patterns and trends, providing actionable insights that support workforce planning, organizational design, and performance management
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance data collection methods and ensure that the data youβre working with is accurate, reliable, and aligned with our business needs
- Optimize our people analytics framework, helping to ensure that the systems and processes in place are scalable and adaptable as the company grows
- Play a critical role in cross-functional projects, providing robust analysis that supports initiatives like diversity efforts, talent acquisition, and employee development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Previous experience working with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, BambooHR)
- Understanding of statistical analysis techniques
