Requirements

  • You communicate effortlessly in native-level German as well as very good English
  • You possess a great working knowledge of German HR, administration, and legal topics
  • You are extremely detail-oriented and have an eye for optimizing administrative processes
  • You are a proficient MS Office user, in particular MS Excel user
  • You fully identify with our culture and feel comfortable representing it
  • You enjoy a certain level of repetitiveness, which challenges you to make processes more efficient and scalable
  • You care deeply about employee well-being and always act in a service-oriented manner
  • You address problems in a solution-oriented way
  • You possess outstanding organizational skills and can prioritize and effectively handle day-to-day business parallel to long-term projects
  • 3-5 years of HR Experience, including familiarity with HR information systems

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a competent contact person for all our employees
  • Own management and administration of relevant HR systems and tools
  • Own the monthly payroll preparation and handle employee inquiries
  • Create and manage HR administration such as work contracts, letters of references and similar, working closely with our legal and accounting departments
  • Generate an optimal employee experience and help to foster a positive workplace culture
  • Advise on issues around residence and work permits, prepare necessary documents
  • Plan and implement HR-related projects relevant to our Core HR topics and processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • BambooHR is a plus
  • Google Sheets is a plus
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent German and English
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented and hands-on attitude and work ethic
  • Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment and think outside the box
