People Ops Coordinator

Summary

Mad Collective is seeking a proactive, well-organized intern for a People Operations Coordinator position. The role involves supporting HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, time off, benefits, and leave management. The ideal candidate should be enrolled in a university pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, have knowledge of Spanish Employment Law, excellent interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, a 'we over me' attitude, eagerness to learn, and fluency in both Spanish and English.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a university (in order to establish an internship agreement)
• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management or a related field
• Comprehension of Spanish Employment Law
• Outstanding interpersonal skills
• Robust organizational and administrative skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver accurately
• We over me' attitude, drive for continuous improvement & accountability
• Eagerness to learn
• Fluency in both Spanish and English

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance with addressing HR inquiries from employees
• Supporting overseeing of the entire employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, time off, benefits, and leave management
• Collaborating with the People Operations Manager, external provider (PayFit), and finance team to ensure accurate payroll delivery
• Ensuring the accuracy and currency of data in our internal HRIS (BambooHR)
• Contributing to Talent Acquisition efforts
• Engaging in various People Team initiatives such as Employee Surveys, Engagement, and Events
