Summary

The Performance Marketing Manager at Getaround is responsible for driving explosive and sustainable revenue growth by implementing performance marketing programs and campaigns across various channels. They will work closely with the Growth, Sales, Product Management, and Utilization teams to achieve ambitious revenue, supply, and utilization targets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of growth hacking and digital marketing experience
  • B2C tech marketing experience including proficiency in all paid channels including paid and organic app-based demand generation and optimization
  • Deep paid and organic search expertise (Google Ads, Apple Search, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook + SEO optimization)
  • Analytical experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, and Adjust
  • The ability to communicate clearly and succinctly (both written and verbal) both externally (customers, prospects, press) and internally (across teams, with executives)
  • Highly proactive and collaborative and the ability to work effectively with teams and individuals, including executives
  • Exceptional critical thinking and strategic skills that demonstrate your ability to dissect complex challenges and formulate actionable, measurable solutions

Responsibilities

  • Instrument the funnel and monitor metrics to constantly drive down CAC, increase conversion rates, and reduce cycle time without sacrificing customer happiness
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to direct and develop impactful content for ads, landing page ideation, design, and execution
  • Manage paid search, app, and retargeting campaigns balancing industry best practices and creativity -optimizing for efficiency and maximum impact
  • Ideate and launch experiments and tests across all platforms and channels to generate revenue and grow supply -bringing a scrappy, iterative, fail-fast/recover-faster approach
  • Work closely with other teams to develop programs that increase retention and engagement with a focus on customer loyalty
  • Serve as a data champion for all things performance marketing-related, including reporting on performance and working with analytics teams and other Growth team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with a fast-paced consumer tech startup, especially marketplaces (e.g. Uber, Airbnb, DoorDash, Instacart)
  • Prior experience working with Mobile Measurement Partners (MMP) like Adjust or Firebase
  • Expert-level proficiency with paid search channels, including Google and Bing, Apple Search, and more
  • Preferably based on East Coast
  • Experience working internationally
